The acceptance for Inman Park festival came in the mail today. Hallie’s enthusiasm is contagious. We are starting to make our game plan now.

My Valentine!

Here she is! Her name is Zelda and she has a perfect heart shaped nose. Roger LOVES her. Now he has a purpose.

First time she walked into the house, she announced her requirements. She want’s only Purina One, fresh water all the time and the house to be clean and tidy! She has selected her corner.

Roger and I both REALLY love her.

It’s been over 20 years since I had a cat. It’s all coming back to me.

Living in a Small Artsy Town

I love Buford, There’s not a place I go in this town where there’s not a hug waiting for me. Today at the bank, I ran into my dear friend Lydia. There are too many people at Kroger to name that always are a joy to see.
The UPS man doesn’t even seem to notice or care when I come to the door in my nighty gown at 4 in the afternoon.
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, I love my town.

Happy Day

Today was a very good day in my studio. I was in my jammies, until 6 o’clock when I was forced to get dressed and take thing to USP>

I wish all days could be like this, but then I guess I would get bored!

The Union

I guess I’m the only person in the whole world that did not watch any part of the Super Bowl. I
nstead, I watched a documentary about the making of “The Union” with Elton John and Leon Russell. So very inspiring.

Leon says it’s easier to write about a true story than to make up a random subject. That must be why his music is so wonderful.

I’m ordering the CD right now!

Makes me want to make something. Think I’ll finish this mermaid!
